Course Description

The core science course is designed to help students develop a strong working knowledge in science and to extend their confidence in working with scientific concepts and ideas.

Its important to note that from Key stage 3 upward, the national curriculum divides science into 3 main subjects – Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. There is also no guidance on the order of sub topics or the school years for which topics are to be covered in. What is clear however is the topics to be covered and that students need to have covered all three subjects (biology, Chemistry & Physics) by the end of year 9 in preparation for GCSE’s.

This course is designed to cover the essential concepts of science in a clear, concise and engaging manner. Our team of expert science educators have created lessons that are both informative and engaging. They use real-life examples and hands-on activities to help students understand complex scientific concepts and make connections to their everyday lives. The course is also supported by multimedia resources, including videos, animations, and interactive simulations that provide students with a dynamic and immersive learning experience.

The online format of the course allows students to learn at their own pace, anytime and anywhere. Students can access the course materials on any device with an internet connection, and they can review the lessons as many times as they like.
